Special Needs Care in Horsham

| I have been working with a little boy with quadriplegic cerebral palsy for the last 3 years , from age 2-5years. I assist in all his care needs including peg feeding and medication. I attend sessions with him at Ingfield Manor School for parents working along side the conductive education teachers. I have completed a paediatric first aid course and a beginners course in Makaton sign language.

| I am a fully qualified level 3 in Childcare and Education along with holding a full clean DBS, paediatric first aid trained, food hygiene level 2 and trained in child protection. I have 10 years experience with children aged 2-4 and have experience with children with Autism, Asperger's Syndrome and Downs Syndrome. I absolutely love working with children and have extensive knowledge of creating engaging activities and sourcing outdoor activities. Although I do not drive, this is not a reason to stop outings and exploring!

| Hi, professionally worked with hearing impaired children and employed by scope, at Ingfield Manor for a period of 5 years, working alongside speech therapists and physios. My own experience , as a mother of 4, with delayed speech, dysexecutive function syndrome, behavioural and trauma informed qualified. My children are now at the following stages , police officer, two at University and my youngest is a boarder at Christ's Hospital School. This allows me to work independently without the worry of personal child care needs. I am happy to work term time only. As well as throughout the annual year.

During this time I have worked with a variety of needs, in closing many behavioural challenges a child may present. I am energetic, bubbly and respectful with any child I work with, and I am always eager to provide consistent care that not only engages the child but also shows them they are valued to help their self esteem and confidence. During my experience, I have undergone training to help speech development, which I have supported within the classroom to individual children. I have experience working with young people with Epilepsy, Type 1 Diabetes, gastrostomy feeding, Asthma, and allergies.
