Pet Care in Adur

| I grew up with cats and hamsters, and over the years have helped out with lots of friends dogs. I have also been a carer and one of my duties was to look after the cat. I have been animal mad from a young age and love to help people look after their lovely pets.

| I absolutely adore pets, i have a labrador myself, and he has the sweetest kindest soul, i have taught him all the tricks he knows, and i would love to help out a family who needs someone to look after their pets and not worry or stress about putting them in a kennel

| I’ve had some casual experience in helping a friend raise and look after her two cats and a dog in the past. I love animals and understand how it can be difficult to organise the time to both work/study and look after a pet or two.

| I am 22 years old, and have recently graduated from University after studying Psychology. For 3 months after graduating I travelled to Asia, visiting animal sanctuaries to carry out voluntary work. I have had a passion for animals my whole life and have always enjoyed caring for my own and friends/family pets. I have experience caring for and walking with my own dog, Alfie (English Springer Spaniel) who is now 11 years old. I also have experience with other pets such as cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. I have cared for family and friend’s pets when they have been away. I am very comfortable around all animals and enjoy their company. I am a responsible, reliable and conscientious person. I understand it is important to follow the individual needs of each pet. I have experience especially with dogs which I gained when volunteering for the DogsTrust. I have additional care experience gained when I was a Care Giver for elderly and disabled clients for the company CareWatch. Here, I was trained to deliver appropriate health support and administer medication.

| I am an animal lover and my passion is to help (I worked voluntary at animal shelter) and to be with them. I used to work as a pet sitter for 1 year but I stopped due to moving abroad. Currently I am fostering dogs at Dog Trust. I would love to find an occupation that is my great passion- taking care of animals

| I'm a mum of two young adults (still kids to me!) and have a maternal approach to looking after dogs and cats, I love them so much. As a child we had border terriers (females) so I built up a loving rapport with them from puppies until they sadly passed away. As an adult, my family and I adopted a beautiful greyhound from the Dogs Trust at age 7 and looked after him through various problems with his paws, knees, legs and shoulders. He lived until age 12 and was an absolute joy, giving me experience with a much larger dog and all the quirks of a crazy sighthound! Since then and during his lifetime, I have taken every opportunity to look after, walk and sit dogs and sometimes cats whenever I can. I am always mindful of their happiness and safety, following owners' instructions and recommendations whilst using my own experience and common sense.

| I have a wide range of experience with animals. I gained a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management, where I developed many useful skills. I learnt about animal behaviour, nutrient, biology, health, welfare, and how to handle different species(Reptiles, Small Mammals, Amphibians, inverts etc). In addition to this, I volunteered at the RSPCA caring for kittens, dogs and rabits. I also volunteered at the Southdown Veterinary Clinic where I helped restrain and tend to patience, walk the impatient. At Raysetde I worked with the horses and donkeys, cleaning out pens, walking and feeding. During my time at Drusillas zoo, I guided people in the zoo and ensured the animals wandering about in the free zones were safe and secure. I also have my own range of animals(White Tree Frogs, Crested Gecko, Beetles, Mantis, a cat, leaf insects, stick insects), so I understand how important animals are in someones life. I have a great passion for animals and their welfare. I have been an animal lover all my life and its a great pleasure for me to see an animal healthy and happy.

I probably specialize in dogs but have had experience caring for cats, fish, hamsters, rabbits and lizards in my time as well. I seem to have a knack for connecting with dogs in particular and enjoy spending my time with them, knowing I'm making them feel happy, safe and trusting in my dedication and love of all animals. Whether it's popping in to keep them company, feed them or take them out for some exercise. It'll be a job I take pride in.

| I studied Animal Management at Plumpton college and gained a level 3 diploma. From this I gained knowledge in many subjects: animal welfare, animal biology, animal behaviour, animal nursing, wildlife, exotic animals, ecology, animal handling, and transport. I understand how to care for an array of animals. -Reptiles -Amphibians -insects -small mammals -cats - dogs In addition to that I have volunteered at Raystede, RSPCA , Southdown Veterinary, and Drusillias.

| I have grown up with 3 cats all my life and been surrounded by dogs and fish too, so would absolutely love to look after someone else's pet for however long they need. I'm currently out of work, so free all day everyday. I'm a super kind, gentle and loving individual - pet's make me super happy, so this would be a perfect thing to do whilst I have the time.

| I don’t see animals I see people I care for an animal like I would a kid or vulnerable person. I can’t have a dog where I live I would still love to walk feed groom care for others dogs to get experience I have a cat. Who I love very much. I will care for your pet like I would my own cat .

| Hi, my name is Grace and I'm 24 years old. I'm a psychology graduate living in Shoreham , and just finished a temp job at Next. I live with my 16 year old rescue cat Lily, who is quite nervous but ultimately just a huge softie ( and I do mean HUGE, though we keep her on a strict diet!). We have a quiet household where she can get lots of fuss. I've got a lot of different interests including yoga, learning languages (currently tackling German), cooking and independent cinema. I spend my weekends walking in the hills, playing board games with my friends, trying out new recipes (usually pan Asian!) and making friends with random dogs. I can speak a little Mandarin. I'm also a frequent visitor to my grandmother 's rescue dog Alfie who is very energetic, loves walks and adores attention from everybody. As well as caring for Lily and Alfie, I volunteered at an animal shelter for a year: cleaning out the shelter , feeding the animals , paying everyone attention, playing with the kittens and walking the dogs : my absolute dream job !
