I am 22 years old, and have recently graduated from University after studying Psychology. For 3 months after graduating I travelled to Asia, visiting animal sanctuaries to carry out voluntary work. I have had a passion for animals my whole life and have always enjoyed caring for my own and friends/family pets. I have experience caring for and walking with my own dog, Alfie (English Springer Spaniel) who is now 11 years old. I also have experience with other pets such as cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. I have cared for family and friend’s pets when they have been away. I am very comfortable around all animals and enjoy their company. I am a responsible, reliable and conscientious person. I understand it is important to follow the individual needs of each pet. I have experience especially with dogs which I gained when volunteering for the DogsTrust. I have additional care experience gained when I was a Care Giver for elderly and disabled clients for the company CareWatch. Here, I was trained to deliver appropriate health support and administer medication.
