| I’m a bubbly happy friendly person.. I like chatting to all kinds of people and finding out about all different walks of life.. I’m a happy go lucky person, and like helping others.

I do not have any experience but I am a very caring person. I would like to help someone out if needed, from a cup of tea to doing the shopping or taking you out.

| I have worked with downsyndrome, autistic, epilepsy, dementia, have done domiciliary care. I have 2 downsyndrome brothers and another on the autistic spectrum. I have 5 grown up children of my own and 2 grandsons. I am a capable and outgoing person and I take pride in my work.

| Over 30 years experience in providing care I have attended courses relating to care and management. I have an up to date DBS and registered with the update service. Comfortable working in one to one situations and as part of a team. For the last 7 years I have been working as a team leader with a client who has an acquired Brain Injury within my role I work with Therapists, Family, legal teams and other professionals. I am responsible for completing care plans, risk assessments and guidelines. I am very passionate about providing the tools and motivation to enable clients and have a strong belief that every small step a client makes is the greatest leap to fulfilment. I am dedicated to making a real difference to a person’s life striving to motivate and support clients to reach their full potential. I have worked in the social care sector for over 35 years, after working as a support worker in a residential settings with elderly clients presenting with Alzheimer’s/ dementia within this role I worked in various sectors including learning disabilities, mental health, led and supported teams in providing high standards of care, person centered planning that provided the best outcomes possible.

Good worker, honest, and very communicative. I love working with older people because it reminds me of my grandmother, dearly.

| I have worked in many sectors of work in my life and care work, on and off for many years, helping people from age ranges; 20's to 80's+, with persona care, to shopping and laundry tasks. I am also experienced in looking after children, my son is 22 and my step-daughter is 9, I have also looked after many children on and off over the years even coaching a primary school netball team. I am now looking to help people in my area as a way to contribute to my family but also get to know my local communities more, something I feel has been lacking in my previous non care roles. I am hardworking and flexible, with a full driving licence and my own car, I have a current DBS certificate and can provide references on request and a full C.V if required.

I have experience looking after the elderly or disabled in their own homes. Experience with dementia, strokes, incontinence, bed bound, deaf and blind. Cleaning, shopping, taking people out, dog walking. Residential homes shift work. Have NVQ2 certificate, moving and handling and First Aid.
