Elderly Care in Halstead

| Hi my name is Donna i am a 48 year old female.I enjoy care work very much. I have done lots of care work in residential homes,private care and home care for a company in Sible Hedingham. At the moment I am working 2 days a week looking after a disabled lady.I do some personal care,also i take her to her day centre in Maningtree.I feed her her lunch and drinks as she is unable to do this herself.I love animals,i have 2 dogs of my own.I am very reliable and trustworthy I am looking for work one or two days a week for a few hours.I have my own transport with work insurance.I also like the companionship side off care so would be willing to take people out for the day.I enjoy cooking.Would be willing to do some light housework if needed.I am a very easy going person and i am easy to get along with.

| I am a Care Assistant in a residential home assisting in dementia and parkinsons care. I have worked as an HCA with the elderly, eating disorders, addiction and mental health. It is a humbling position to be in and I treat all those who trust me to care for them in a way I would only expect for myself. As we all age, we deserve to maintain our independence and dignity; this is my wish for each person I work with. I have also volunteered in a residential alzheimers unit with my Therapy Dog, Boggles. We were part of the End of Life process with clients and their families. What an absolute honour to be part of a private and emotionally loving journey. I am forever grateful to those families for sharing their journey with myself and Boggles. Lastly, I have foster history too (for furbabies). I have tube fed and reared neonate pups and kittens (cleft palates too). I pet sat for many when I was in Florida. Some of the pets were seniors and required medication administering, I am comfortable with this and, again, what an honour for people to trust me with their loved ones (human and other). I am a non smoker, non drinker with a clean driving licence.

| I have 8 years experience in early and advanced dementia, medication administration and control, stroke, stoma care, catheter care, wound care,hoisting,personal care and dressing.

| I currently support Clients with dementia. I assist with personal care. I do shopping, cleaning, I also cook and am happy to freshly cook traditional meals. I also am a crafter and happy to arrange craft time to suit clients and their individual likes. Happy to take out for appointments etc. I am fully insured. Have a CRB and love my job.

| I am a stay at home mum of 5 and recently due to circumstances out of our control I am the one looking for a job and I'm passionate about helping others, I have 8 months experience with elderly in a care home and I loved it and am very keen to learn more and help as many as I can put a smile on there faces
