I have worked in the childcare sector for 9 years caring for children ages 6 months to 5 years, my posts in this time have been nursery nurse, supervisor and third in charge. I have also spent some time as a nanny to two children after school, over night and weekends. I enjoy all aspects of childcare and enjoy caring for and helping children to reach their potential by offering experiences for children to learn and thrive in. I believe that having a good partnership with the child's main carers is one of the most important tools when working with children to ensure that the child needs and developmental goals can be reached working together, as well as the needs of the parents. I have a sound understanding of current government framework for children aged 0 - 5 and have had training and experience in implementing this. In my previous job role, I was the designated special needs coordinator and have a good understanding on how to support children with additional needs. I am caring, loyal and hard working and my enthusiasm in the childcare field has never gone unnoticed. I am currently looking for a nanny position.

Experienced Nurturing Midwife offers Childcare, Maternity Nursing & Birth Support near NE33
| I worked as a NHS midwife in London for 13 years, but last year I moved back to my hometown South Shields after bringing up my children in London for 26 years. I'm a mother to daughters aged 26 & 19, sons are now 15 & 17, and I'm a grandmother to 4 little girls aged 1 to 6 so I have a wealth of skills and recent new born and toddler experience. I was a passionate midwife but prefer homebirth and less medical intervention and have taken early retirement due to financial stability as a landlady. I have many hours in the week to spare evenings and weekends. I am offering childcare services now after enjoying not working for the last two years, my children are almost all fleeing the nest and I want to start working towards studying to become a teacher. So please contact me if you are looking for a experience reliable child minder.
