After School Care Harrogate

| I took on a role as a nursery assistant in Jan 2018, quickly taking on more responsibility and leading the room within a few months assisting or instead of the room leader when they had a day off, finally going on to lead rooms, organising other staff members by setting up activities for the children within the early years framework. Throughout my years at the nursery I built up very good relationships with both children and parents/carers which is reflected in babysitting jobs and also I still do after school pick up and care for one of the families. I have achieved my Level 3 childcare and worked with a good knowledge of safeguarding myself, children and other staff members. To enhance my own learning, I left the nursery to take on an access course in HSE and am now looking to get back into childcare with a view in the coming years to attend University for Occupational Therapy. I really enjoy working with children and excelling their individual learning paths, making sure that they are able to stay engaged and their own interests are explored. In my previous role I achieved my Paediatric First Aid training and was DBS checked yearly according to the guidance.

| Hi, my name is Caitlin and I am 24 years old. I live in Pateley Bridge. I am the oldest of four siblings with them ranging from the ages of 11 to 19. I spent a year working for a family of 5 with those children ranging from 1-13. I spent a lot of time with this family and predominately had sole care of them. The eldest 2 children have severe special educational needs and a lot of need and attention required. I have babysat for several families since the age of 14. I have worked 3 years in total at a day nursery and also became a room lead whilst there. I worked with the babies, toddlers, pre school children and the children from our after school club. I’ve spent 2 summers abroad working for Camp America as a camp counselor the first season and my second season I returned with a promotion of head staff. I’ve also just spent the last 2 years being a teaching assistant in a primary school in Harrogate and I’m now studying my PGCE teacher training

| I am a 25 year old English Literature graduate and professional who has extensive experience babysitting children from 6 to 18. This has previously varied from a week’s nannying of two children, to after school/evening care. I also have the highest level of DBS check. I am an excellent cook and very happy to do so for your children, or complete light housework as you need. I am also a tutor for GCSE and Functional Skills English, and am happy to help your children with any homework if needed also. Having a younger sister and several young cousins myself, I have always looked after and love children, and am happy to proved a kind, creative and fun atmosphere to suit you and your children’s individual needs.

I have been in Childcare for 7 years now, and in this time I have gained lots of experience caring for little ones aged 8 weeks to 7 years old in a range of different settings - their home daytime and overnight, nurseries, a Créche, and an after school/weekend club! I have my Level 3 in Childcare, and also graduated with a first class honours degree in Early Childhood Studies in 2020. I offer babysitting services in Harrogate, and I am available to nanny 2-3 days a week around my current job as a supervisor in a Creche. I’m paediatric first aid trained (L3) and DBS checked. However I do not hold a driver's license. I absolutely love outdoor play, all things artsy, Disney and dinosaurs!
