We are living in Northampton and need help with elderly care. We are looking for a sensible, reliable and experienced carer to help us out. My father had a stroke back in 2020 and since then has been hospital 3 or 4 times and this has impacted further on his mobility and communication, however he still lives with us at home and can interact in small amounts. The person in question needs to be able to assist him to go to the toilet and to provide him with refreshments/food when necessary. A big part of the role is being a companion. We are looking for a few options. 1. Live in carer - for 4 days up to a week or more for holidays and breaks. (I currently have a lovely lady who comes in a supports dad two afternoons a week and perhaps a joined up approach can be made to the live-in care requirements? 2. Carer - to cover during an evening period 3. Carer - to offer other flexible hours throughout the week.
