Looking for occasional support for 8 year old special needs child, to take out into community and assist in the home. Must be able to easily step into parental role. Tasks include swimming, cooking, reading, play, visiting parks and places of interest locally. Must be able to drive. Initially your job will be to cover existing carers, however more hours may become available. You will also need to successfully pass CRB that will be carried out by social services and can take 2 to 8 weeks. You will have to pass on various identity documents for this in Oldbury area. Use of Makaton sign language is a must, or you must be willing to learn. Child has various special needs (i.e. language and physical difficulties, including incontinence).
