Jess helped me to get couple bits in meadowhall shopping centre. I hv arthritis in the knee and I am limping. I can't walk far. Jess pushed me round in the wheelchair to get couple bits. I felt silly getting in the wheelchair and jess quickly reassured me it's ok to get in the wheelchair and let jess push me round. Glad I did as I wasn't mobile enough.. I found jess to be kind caring conscience, compassionate, patient and hv heart of gold. Jess even had time to hv a cup of tea and I felt comfortable in talking about my knee etc. I would recommend jess to anyone needing help. Jess is a credit to family, friends and most of all herself. | I am a speech and language therapy student at the University of Sheffield, meaning i have a deep understanding of a range of special needs and communications difficulties. Alongside working with mainstream individuals at an indoor play centre from the age of 14 I have also been volunteering (in my home town) with children with special educational needs in a class room and summer school setting. This day time experience in a SEN care role has been useful but my summer at Elks Camp Moore for special children in new Jersey has given me unbeatable experience with children with SEN. Ranging from ASD to cerebral palsy and dravet syndrome, I worked with individuals with special needs for 1 week 24 hours a day for 10 weeks of my summer in 2018.
