Being associated with individuals with SEN is something that occurs on a regular basis, due to supporting an autistic family member with diverse learning difficulties. This has, essentially, inspired me in wanting become a carer. In perspective, this is not seen as an ordinary job, but something I do for the satisfaction and rewarding feeling from helping others. I have currently finished university with a degree in primary education, completing placements in both mainstream and specialist schools. The fulfilment and pleasure gained were far greater and continued my interest in wanting to work alongside those in need. Whilst caring for my older brother, I have acquired first-hand experience on what it is like to look after those in need from both my point and the families’ point of view. Therefore I am considerate in the requirements which you expect and the standard in which I’m required to work at for those in need.
I am an energetic yet patient, and understanding being who believes that everyone has the right to live the life they want to, and I want to help those in need achieve that too. Despite my young age, the constant experience of responsibilities has strengthened my skills and confidence in facilitating for others.
