Smart and energetic manny or nanny for before and after school during term time and full-time during holidays required for a bright 6 year old boy preparing for his 7-plus exams. We are interviewing now for August 2014 and need a minimum 12 months commitment. Position offers fun and relevant teaching experience for PGCE applicants and is ideal for a TA or Graduate on Gap Year. £22,000 per annum (£11/hour)


HOURS: Monday-Friday averaging 35 hours/week. Term: 07:30-08:45 & 15:15-19:00 and holidays 08:00-18:30

Responsibilities include:
- Chaperone the boy to/from school and liaise with his school teachers.
- Supervise homework and extension lessons in Maths and English, teaching materials and support provided.
- Participate in visits to the park, museums, galleries, theatre, sports and outings.

Requirements include:
- Excellent spoken & written English and Numeracy
- Experience as a tutor or coach for primary school aged children
- Positive "can do" attitude, patient, trustworthy, reliable, punctual and well organised
- Non-smoker
- Excellent checkable references in English

Desirable:
- DBS clearance
- First Aid certificate
- Ofsted registered/willing to become registered
