Animal Behaviour and Welfare Graduate
| I completed a foundation degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare in 2017 and I am now looking to gain further practical experience with animals. Since graduating I have been regularly volunteering with Norfolk Wildlife Trust and The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) which has allowed me to indulge in my passion for wildlife, the environment and conservation. This has also enabled me to improve my wildlife identification skills. I have had a lifelong passion for animals, with a recent focus on wildlife native to Britain, but I believe all animals are of equal importance and have equal rights to high quality care and welfare. While growing up, I had a keen interest in caring for the family cats and I'm currently the proud owner of a long-haired Persian rescue. Prior to graduating and moving to Norwich, I was a volunteer dog walker at Brighton's RSPCA which allowed me to apply aspects of my degree. As part of my degree I also gained experience in basic animal handling and dog training. I also have experience of caring for rabbits, hamsters and fish. I have held a Pass Plus manual driving licence since 2013 and have access to my own vehicle.
I didn't know Sarah before but she has just looked after my 2 cats for 10 days over Christmas and New Year. Whilst I was away, she sent updates of how things were going with pictures of her playing with the cats every other day, which really helped to put my mind at ease. Sarah went above and beyond to be as helpful as possible and to provide plenty of attention to my pets. I would certainly work with her again and would highly recommend her as a pet carer/house sitter to anyone."

| I live in Brighton, E. Sussex. I have studied animal science including animal behaviour. I have volunteered in animal rescue centres both here and abroad in Africa and Thailand where I had an amazing experience working with cheetahs, monkeys and elephants and many other animals. I spent a year volunteering at an Animal Rescue working in the cattery. I have experience of dog walking, puppy sitting, and cat feeding (with cuddles and lots of play!). If you are looking for a dog walker I prefer to only take care of your dog(s) so they have my full attention and will tailor the walk/care to suit their needs. I am also available for pet feeding only (includes stay and play for an hour), day sits while you are out at work or away on holiday, and vet trips if you are unable to take them. I have two adorable cats of my own, and love animals. I am insured and can provide references.
