I would like to introduce you to our family and let you know what we are looking in a nanny. Our family is made up of me, my husband and our two kids, girl and boy. They are 9 and 4 years old. Both our kids are on the Autistic spectrum, but are bright, sociable and do not pose major challenging behavioural problems. Our daughter goes to a local special school and our son goes to local nursery four half days a week excluding Wednesday. We need a nanny to help me get the kids up in the morning for school [start time 7.00am], get them breakfast and then I would drop them at school/nursery all days except Thursday morning. You will be required to drop him off at nursery on Thursdays. I will pick my daughter up from school all days except Thursdays. You will be required to pick up from nursery on Mondays and Wednesdays at 13.00, Thursdays at 14.00 and from school on Thursdays at 3.30pm. The nursery is about 5 minutes’ drive from home and school about 10 minute drive but we can provide taxi fare for the school and nursery runs in case you don’t drive. You will then be in charge of them on Thursdays] until I return from work on days when I work. We might occasionally need babysitting in the evenings and rarely on Saturdays, but this is infrequent and we would check with you before we booked to go out.
