Hi, my name is Philippa and I am looking for an elderly care provider in London N1. I would like someone who is either experienced with or willing to learn how to look after someone in a wheelchair who is reliable and trustworthy.

It is for my mother, who suffered a stroke nearly 4 years ago now and is now in a wheelchair and unable to transfer independently. She is very easy going and pleasant, and nothing about her care is too complicated. She is able to competently communicate any need she may have.

Your regular responsibilities will include getting my mother out of bed and general personal care (e.g. bathing, grooming) and morning routine (assisting with meds, eating breakfast.)

Would ideally be for about one and a half hours from 8 a.m./8:30 a.m. and for as many days a week as you would be happy to do.
Would be great if it is a flexible person who could take on other times during the day to assist with toileting/meal preparation when I am not here. Potentially the odd evening to put her to bed around 8:30/9 p.m.
