My name is Bradley. I am 44 years old and physically disabled. I'm a musician and writer. I have neurological problems which affect me being able to walk properly and use my hands. I also suffer from chronic pain syndrome and muscle spasms; as well as memory problems. I would like help with personal care, washing and dressing and assistance with medication. I also need help with laundry and some ironing. I would also like help with shopping and when able to go out with carer. I need help with preparing and planning meals. I need help with cleaning and gardening. Because of my dyslexia and motor coordination problems I would need help with phone calls, e-mails, paying bills, organising appointments and accompanying to them. When I am going out, I need support on public transport and help crossing the road. When able I would like company on days out to places of interest ie museums and galleries. I also like going to concerts/gigs {any tickets would be paid for). Carer needs to be responsible, reliable, and trustworthy with a sense of humour.
Monday- Thursday (afternoon) 3 hours per day 2.30pm- 5.30pm.
Friday 3.5 hours per day 2-pm 5.30pm all time are approximate.
Monday - Friday (evening) 1-5 hours per day 7pm - 8.30pm.
Weekend work is also available Saturday 5 hours 12.30-5.30pm; Evening 2 hours 7.30 - 9.30pm all time are approximate.
Sunday 3 hours 2-5pm
Times are approximate and starting salary is 9- per hr
You will need to be able to let your self in each day with a set of keys, provided.
