Special Needs Care in Redditch

| I have a young child of my own whom I wish to continue to care for alongside your child/children. I am enthusiastic to see children gain their potential and supporting families to achieve the best balance for their household. I have looked after children in a variety of settings for 18 years. I hold a foundation degree in early years and have also gained an NVQ in care and education. I have worked with children and adults with SEND for 10 years and I am experienced in giving personal care as well as attending to medical needs. I have taught small classes in a school including preparing resources, planning and implementing lessons and daily feedback to parents. My parenting experience has helped me to better understand the needs of parents and their children. I am available part time, weekdays. Days are negotiable. I can also offer once evening per week, arranged in advance.

| My experience within special needs is that I have been working as a support worker for adults with disabilities for the past 3 years. I am also currently studying Learning Disability Nursing at University, that being within my 2nd year now. My first care role was within special needs and this has grown to be my interest for a life long career, hence the further education at University. I am able to provide you with a service that is person-centred, fun, enjoyable and individualised for the service user. I am a bubbly individual who will always find a way to make tasks enjoyable and aim to maximise the most out of a service users day, ensuring that I can build a therapeutic relationship.
