Special Needs Care in Paisley

| Over the past 5 years I’ve worked as a special needs and a remedial teacher to young children and adults. I have experience with basic OT, makaton, ABA and speech. I’m also a Learn to Swim coach. I am passionate about what I do and couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

I have strong skills and several personal care experiences, which uniquely qualifies me for this job opportunity. My education and professional background has provided me with exceptional knowledge and skills to perform all functions of personal care. For instance, I had performed a variety of tasks for clients including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and ambulation, incontinence care, transferring, and feeding under the supervision of a registered nurse. Besides, I can efficiently give companionship to keep the client engaged in routine life. Furthermore, I enjoy working in the personal care field and confident in developing great understanding with the people I help – a trustworthy and dependable individual who take great satisfaction in caring for people of all ethnicities. I am dedicated, hard working and able to follow-up the challenges in order to make them success. In addition, I am a lively team player who works well with co-workers and colleagues.

| I have been working in the care sector for the last 10 years. i have gained a nc qualification in mental health care as well as my hnc in social care.i have worked with children and adults with complex needs for the last 10+years. I have a passion for the work I do as I like helping people maintain there independence as well as being able to assist them achieve there full potential. I have do training courses in moving and handling, fire safety, food hygiene, challenging behaviour, dementia these are just some of the courses I have completed throughout my 10+ years as being a carer. Over the last few years I have traveled to different parts of the world to work in my field. I have worked in the Falkland Islands , Orkney , Shetlands ,Stornaway and Uist.

| I am currently employed as a complex needs practitioner, supporting 4 adult males in shared accommodation, in all aspects of daily life including shopping, personal care, administering medication and all leisure activities they wish to participate in.
