Special Needs Care in Fareham

| I am a single mother of 3 year old twin boys and i'm looking for some work that will allow flexible hours around caring for my own children as well as getting a degree. I was once a carer for a teenager with severe disabilities for 3-4 years and i loved working with her! My responsibilities included taking care of her hygiene; changing nappies, showering and brushing her teeth. I had to feed her through a tube feed as well as orally. I was also responsible for administering her medication and meeting all of her needs efficiently. I also have experience in caring for elderly and vulnerable adults in their homes. This again included assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparations, administering medication and assistance with day to day activities. I have also learnt how to assist with epilepsy as my sister is subject to epileptic and disassociative seizures. I am also trying to learn sign language alongside teaching it to my children so I am interested in seeing if this is something I could learn alongside caring for someone. I am easy to get along with and a fun individual who will work so passionately to ensure you are happy with the care you or your loved one receives.

| I have been babysitting a ADHE child for 4 years now and I have worked with 3 autistic children in a preschool environment. I also have a brother that is on the autistic spectrum. So know how to find the best ways of caring and supporting them through their care. I also know how to us the PEC system I also know simple Makaton when communicating needs and wants with the child. I also have personal experience in allergy care.
