In 2011, I worked with adults between the ages of 20 and 60 with Down's syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy and developmental delays. I was responsible for providing personal care and support to take part in various activities, as well as following behaviour plans and managing challenging behaviour. I am currently studying to become a Learning Disability nurse and I look forward to developing clinical skills and expertise in caring for people with complex needs.
