Pet Care in Newark and Sherwood

| I've had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember and I have a Level 3 extended Diploma in animal management. I can't have pets of my own right now but I cant imagine my life without them. I have experience with cat and dog training, reptile and amphibian husbandry, small mammal care, and farm and livestock experience. There is a special place in my heart for birds (I have experience with exotic birds in a zoo environment) <3 .

| Animals, but dogs especially, are my passion. I have 1 year of experience in the professional pet caring industry and have amazing references to vouch for this, I also have over 15 years of practical experience growing up with dogs (staffies). I hope to work for the RSPCA as a cruelty investigator after I get my bachelors degree in animal biology as improving the welfare of animals is something I would love to be a part of. After moving for uni and my family getting full time jobs, we decided it was in our dogs best interest to find her a new family so they could give her the love she deserved but it still breaks my heart everyday so I know, first hand, how important it is to make sure your animals are well looked after when you're not around. I have just started my second year at university so my availability is as follows: Monday - 4pm onwards Wednesday - all day (I may have netball matches but I can inform you a week before if I do) Thursday - 9am - 3:30pm Sat/Sun - All day I understand a pet is not just an animal, it's a family member and I will go above and beyond to ensure that its health and happiness is always at the top of my agenda.

| I work in a Veterinary hospital as a kennel assistant and I am flexible during the week. I have experience with a variety of different dog breeds and sizes and I am competent with handling dogs.

| Hi! My name’s Emily and I am qualified at BTEC and BSc level in Animal Managment and Zoo Biology. I have 2-3 years of experience in hands-on animal husbandry including a variety of species such as exotics, small mammals, reptiles and dogs. This includes a variety of tasks such as feeding, cleaning, health checks and administering of minor medications. I am flexible to work around my university schedule however this means there may be certain days I cannot work. Weekends are preferable. | I had a dog called Dylan who died recently which is why I’m wanting to help others with their pets. I have a diploma in animal management from Bishop Burton College and a Level 2 technical competence certificate in both dog walking and pet sitting.

| I am 21 years old and have just finished my final year at university studying animal biology. Last summer I set up a little dog walking business to earn money for my rent, with customers coming back each week. I also volunteered at our animal unit at university and walked their dogs, as well as doing my dissertation with dogs. I have had dogs all my life, so I have plenty of experience with them. I have also had guinea pigs and hamsters so have all the knowledge needed to handle and care for them.
