I understand that how we present ourselves to our pets has a significant impact on how they can feel in our company. | Hello I'm Timi, I'm 19 years old, I'm from Hungary and currently studying BA Architecture at Northumbria University. Both my mom and dad are vets. I have experiance with a wide range of animals, we owned an iguana for 8 years, a cat for 12 years, a bearded dragon for 3 years and also fish (all these animals were rescued). I also spent a lot time with my mom at the vet clinic back in Hungary, so I learned how to handle animals from her. I really liked being there especially night shifts when most of the emergencys took place, so I kown how to handle stressful situations. I also took care of my grandma's dog many times when she was already unable to and before that too (the dog passed 18 years old blind and deaf, so I also was able to learn how to handle elderly animals and animals with special needs). In the family we also have a bunny, had hamsters and have guinea pigs and also a turtle so I am familliar with these egsotic animals too. I also volunteered at a local dog shelter for a couple of months (my tasks were: dog feeding, valking, playing with them, cleaning kennels), handled dogs from a couple weeks old puppies to 15/16 year olds. I have done casual pet care, such as feeding neighbours cats or walking their dogs whilst they have been away, but my main experience and passion comes from looking after my own dogs.
