| I am currently out of work to give myself more time to study at home to become an accountant. As you can imagine I am looking for something I can do part time to keep an income. I couldn’t think of anything better than looking after people’s pets as this is something I enjoy! I have been brought up on a farm and know the ins and outs of looking after all sorts of animals, and I am very flexible. I understand that many people are concerned to leave their pet with a stranger so I am more than happy to meet you/your pet in person for free beforehand :)

Hi, I'm 28, a mother of 3 and a massive animal lover! I have 2 dogs myself a choc lab and Italian greyhound x, 2 guinea pigs and 2 horses. In terms of experience I used to house sit for a family during my school years looking after there dog which I'm sure they'd be happy to provide a ref for, and regularly look after relatives animals whilst on holiday or due to work commitments. I think due to my natural love and respect for all animals, the fact I'm good with people as I am a very approachable, trustworthy and active makes me perfect for the job :-) look forward to hearing from you! I now own three cats Thor, Fenrir and Luna. And Bellatrix the hamster! My daughter (6) is very interested in animals, always taken her to places like farms and zoos because I want her to share my love! She's always excited to see and fuss dogs! My other half, Joseph is an experienced dog handler, he used to walk the "red lead" (problem) dogs for his local dog shelter, I often refer to him as the dog whisperer. He will occasionally be with me on visits on weekends. I started my experience with an app called "borrow my doggy" and have been caring for a beautiful boy named Jett! He made me decide to follow my passion. I'm am now looking to complete a Level 2 in Animal Care and have set up my own dog care business. With the idea of moving to a location to offer dog boarding later. My aim is to make your pet feel comfortable and build a relationship with them, and with yourself, to gain trust. I love nothing more than a good fuss for them, but know the importance of allowing nervous or cautious dogs to approach in their own time.

| I don’t have a great deal of experience with paid pet care, but I have owned a medium sized family dog myself for 10 years and she is a Rottweiler crossed with a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. So, I have had a substantial amount of experience walking and feeding dogs. I have gained most of my experience through looking after a small Cocker Spaniel, who is a family friend’s dog, when they are unable to (feeding, walking etc). I often take both the dogs on walks together. To add to this, I have some experience with cats as I tended to someone else’s cats in the past, but only to feed them. Furthermore I have experience working with horses at Hargate Equestrian Centre as I used to help around the stables and tend to the horses.
