Personalised service providing all the love and care that your cats need whilst you're away
| Welcome to To The Moon And Back Cat Sitting! My family have always had cats and I love them all so much (to the moon and back!), so you can believe me when I say that I understand how important your furry family members are. This also means that I have a lot of experience with cat care and make every effort to ensure your kitties feel safe and cared for while you're away. I started cat sitting last year because, unfortunately, I can't have any more cats where I live atm, but being able to visit other kitties and look after them for a little while is the next best thing. All visits include feeding, fresh water, litter tray maintenance (if required), as well as any other odd jobs that would be helpful whilst you’re away (collecting post, watering plants etc.). I also send updates after every visit, usually with photos, to let you know how they're doing. I can do 1 or 2 visits each day, where I work to requested times as much as possible to continue their usual routine, and each visit can be 30/60 minutes long depending on the care your cat needs. Fully insured and DBS checked. I hope to meet you and your furbabies soon!

FAQs for finding a cat sitter in Halifax

In 2024, how much does a cat sitter cost in Halifax?

Hiring a cat sitter in Halifax through Care.com will cost an average of £10.00 per hour as of May 2024. This rate will vary depending on the level of care you need for your cat, the number of cats you have, and the total amount of hours or days your cat sitter will need to come to your home. Some cat sitters will charge a fixed rate per day if full-time care is requested.

How can I find a local cat sitter near me in Halifax?

You can filter and sort local cat sitter profiles by distance from Halifax. Compare your options by reading about their experience, the hourly rate they charge, and reviews from other cat parents. There are currently 3,717 cat sitters in Halifax, although you can expand the radius of your search if you'd like to increase your options.

What questions should I ask a cat sitter in an interview?

The best cat sitters in Halifax have a combination of experience and passion for cat care. Ask questions about the types of pets they have personally owned and how often they are currently cat sitting. Because cats behave differently than dogs, make sure to ask questions that are specific to cat behaviours and tendencies. It's also a good idea to give specific scenarios to the cat sitter you're speaking to so you can have a good idea of how they will treat your cat when they are in your home. Be sure to ask for references from other cat parents in Halifax that have worked with the sitter of your preference.
