| Flexible elderly carer almost 30yrs experience. I started my caring looking after my elderly father in my own home. He had dementia. I have had several roles of all sorts since but I do prefer elderly people. I am comfortable with personal care, attending appointments, transportation to day clubs etc. I currently have availability for days, nights, (sleeping or waking nights), evenings and weekends. I am self employed and hold a full enhanced DBS check, registered on the yearly check. I hold business personal liability insurance. I also have business insurance on my own car. | Companionship/Carer services. I am kind, reliable person with lots of experience helping elderly/housekeeping. Would love to get involved helping elderly more. Sadly I am unable to commit to full time/part time regular hours due to my daughter still being young and me having to be around for school runs. Have you got an elderly relative or a friend, who would like to have a change of scenery for few hours and do tasks which usually requires a companion? Perhaps they fancy going for a swim or to go cinema but mobility doesn’t allow them to do so on their own? I have last couple slots available on Thursdays for an ad hoc or regular companionship. I have level 3 in health and social care which I completed in 2012. Since then I have worked in both residential and nursing homes, 2 of these care homes were dementia specialist care homes.
