Elderly Care in Runcorn

| I have my level 2 and 3 in care.I have worked in a care home for 2 years, were I was made senior carer for 6 months. I then changed to the community delivering care to clients in their own homes. I then went on to working at a day care center for the elderly, I would collect them using the company minibus and myself and other carers would engage in activities with them and then I would drive them home. I have all the relevant knowledge and experience in care and I am competent in following care plans,personal care and administrating medication. I am also a good communicator, listener and a good companion too. I also have an upto date dbs check. I cover runcorn,widnes,Frodsham. Liverpool Garston, Halewood, Woolton, Childwall.

I don't have any experience working with elderly people except my own grandparents, but maybe I am the kind of person who could come into your home and make you smile. I've been a Teaching Assistant for 5 years but recently decided that education is no longer where I feel comfortable and am looking for a change in direction. I have access to a car so I can drive you to the GP and I am good at cooking and baking, so I can make fresh home-cooked meals. I'm happy to clean a dirty bathroom and do minor repairs around the house and keep your brain active with intelligent conversation. I might not be the kind of person you're interested in since I have no qualifications or experience but if a cheerful and friendly person will be of more use then I hope I can help!
