| I am a mother of three, my oldest son who is now 10 being the reason I am so passionate about affording each individual I support with the upmost dignity and respect they deserve. My son spent 3 years unable to walk and relied on a wheelchair as well as various other disability aides from the age of 5 to 8. This was due to a Disease of the Hip Joint and Socket which caused him a great deal of pain and a significantly limited childhood in comparison with other children of his age. My passion to work in the care sector began following being a carer to my son and since I have gained a vast experience in working in the care and support industry. I worked as a mobile warden for a local council, responsible for responding to alarms activated for emergency help. I gained various qualifications in this role and am amongst others a qualified Emergency First Aider, Trained in Hoist use and Maual Handling, have worked with individuals suffering from Dementia and have been Dementia Skill Trained. Previously myself and my husband had our own business specialising in Cleaning and Property Maintenance. My husband is still working within this sector and is self employed working as a Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner. I am now looking to expand the business and incorporate my passion for working with individuals and supporting them with their care needs alongside also offering a cleaning service thus satisfying my love of cleaning too. I am hoping to gain clients who I can build a great working relationship with and provide the services they require at a reasonable price whilst offering a service second to none. My aim is to be the person, who family know their loved ones deserve as a support in their life, but thought orther than themselves no one would deliver in such a way. I am friendly, confident and reliable and have no staff working for me so would be a regular face for you or your family members to rely on and build a trusting and friendly relationship with. I am qualified as a carer and have all First Aid and Health and Safety training. I also have completed various other courses in the care sector. I enjoy working with various groups of people and can adapt well to individual needs. I am happy to work within both the care and cleaning sector and willing to combine the two areas to suit your needs. As a business I do all work myself with my partner doing only carpet and upholstery cleaning. We have no staff working for us.
