Elderly Care in Lichfield

| I started my company in September 2017, I wanted to start my own business so that I could spend precious time with the Elderly, disabled and any vulnerable adults in the Lichfield and surrounding areas. Giving them much needed company and companionship so that they are not isolated. I can also help with household chores, shopping, preparing meals, taking to medical appointments, days out or just a little walk. I have over 15 years experience I have my NVQ level 2 and 3 in health and social care. Shortly I will be doing my NVQ level 5.

| I like to keep healthy wellness (yoga, meditation) I paint, draw sculpt and write.  I have a small, well-behaved dog who is an absolute joy to be around. I am interested in many topics which means I am a good talker and am a good listener.   I like to keep my mind active and am learning four languages along with a certificate in understanding mental health once I finish this I hope to continue to do another one in dementia care. I have lots of experience, kind .loving and trustworthy. I think it is most important a person feels comfortable with you in their home and life.  I have patience and empathy; I am a good cook and enjoy a chat with my clients. it is important to establish early on what they require in relation to their care needs and ensure a plan together to deliver it.

| My name is Emily, I am currently a third year student nurse, seeking part time employment or short term live in care. I began my career in care nearly 6 years ago working as a care support worker and caring for individuals in a person-centred manner is my passion. I have worked in both hospitals, care home and the community setting, supporting individuals in their own homes. I have also cared for my own grandparents and know how difficult it can be for families trying to organise the right care for a loved one. I have experience of caring for people with a wide variety of health conditions, and feel able to confidently carry out all aspects of care in a respectful way upholding individuals' dignity at all times. I am a reliable, hardworking and compassionate person, with excellent communication skills. My calm, warm and friendly nature lends itself very well to my chosen career. | I have 15 years experience in the care sector. I've worked in different types of care homes, residential, residential dementia, Nursing and nursing dementia. I started care with no qualifications, 15 years later, I have my NVQ level 4 and a wide range of knowledge. I am also, medication trained. I do still work in a little care home in Lichfield as a senior care assistant.
