| I have cared for a few people in the UK in the past year. The first was a lady of 68 with severe MS. Borderline osteoporosis. Body strength deterioration. Left leg and arm extremely weak. Suprapubic catheter. Non weight bearing. Ceiling track Hoisting required. Preparing all meals. Personal care. Wheelchair. Taking care of her dog. Laundry. Second lady was 100yrs old who had had a stroke. Also had a catheter. Macular degeneration. Manual hoisting, personal care, cooking, cleaning and laundry. All shopping. Sadly she passed away. 3rd was a gentleman of 90yrs old. Diabetic, very frail, uses zimmer frame to move around, hard of hearing. Personal care, cooking, laundry. Shopping and errands. Also helped his wife who is 89 yrs old. Still do caring assignments with this gentleman. August 2020 to December 2020 - cared for elderly ladies between the age of 87 and 93. One suffering from a stroke and diabetes, early stages of dementia. 2nd serious anxiety. 3rd schizophrenia and anxiety and a gentleman of 96. Help with personal care, cooking, laundry, cleaning, basic running of the household.

| Hello having grown up looking after older members of my family. After having my own children. I moved to the isle of white. I always wanted to help out in any possible way making sure the older generation had the best life possible. I worked for some care agencys. But found the care rushed and not very caring. I then met a gentleman that had lost his wife and was diagnosed with dementia and heart failure. So then lost his driving licence. I offered to take him out 6 hours a week . Just to make his life more bearable as he was still young at heart. We would visit the shops if needed we went on theatre nights out and found every lovely cake/coffee shop the isle of wight had to offer. We worked together for 2 years. Then sadly i moved to basingstoke with my partners job. Even with his dementia we still talk weekly over the phone. I enjoy house work and meeting people from all walks of life. Im fine with personal care. Shoping trips, days out or in. Im not the best cook. But im willing to try anything if it gives comfort to someone
