| I looked after my elderly father with Parkinson's and dementia for 10 years with the goal of keeping him in his own home for as long as possible. I am trained in manual handling, dementia care, dysphagia, special needs, all aspects of personal care. DBS check, I have availability on a Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

In England, because my daughter is going to school I can not afford to work full time. My working time can be from 9.00 to 15.00. I have experience in cleaning houses, I can cook well and love contacts with people. I love to listen to them and to help. I like swimming, cycling, reading books and cooking...I love photography and in every free second I'm outside with my photocamer.

| Experiences in Care: My hands on and physical experience in the Care industry come from working in a care home for one year during Covid/lock down where I mostly did night shifts. I gained various qualifications/Certificates whilst getting to know residents emotional, physical and medical needs, most people had been diagnosed with dementia. My job entailed everything from cleaning the home, preparing meals, administering medication, cleaning and changing residents linen and clothing, washing and bathing residents as well as using heisting equipment. However, most importantly, my earliest memories are of visiting elderly family members in care homes, hospitals etc. I was raised to have respect, time, appreciation and to value our elderly as well as those who struggle with disabilities. We all have a story and I truly enjoy not only getting to know people but learning from their experiences and hopefully bringing a joy and positive experience to their life. | I have worked as a live in carer / pa for the paste 15 years for clients with dementia Helping them stay in their own homes and caring for all of their needs As well as dealing with all of the health issues it’s also dealing with the house. All appointments were attending their dinners assisting with hiring other carers to give myself a break, drawing up care plans meetings with doctors, OT’s and all other healthcare professionals.

| At the age of 14 I began volunteering in a nearby residential home for older people , I spent time engaging and chatting with the residents which I enjoyed a great deal . A paid position became available at the same home and as I turned 16 I worked as a care assistant for almost 20 years . I have gained several qualifications along the way including a degree in health and social care , mental health first aider and currently in my last year as a trainee counsellor .
