I have been tutoring for five years, and in that time have taught basic numeracy & literacy to children with special educational needs, SATs and 11+ preparation, KS3 History and English, GCSE and A Level History & English, and English for adult learners. I am a patient, enthusiastic, and flexible teacher, focusing upon making the lessons fun and engaging. In terms of my educational background, I have a first class BA degree in History, a MA in Humanitarianism & Conflict Response with distinction, and I'm currently studying for a PhD in History at Newcastle University. I love learning, and like to try and make my students feel the same!
