I have gained great listening skills, through tutoring in my sixth form school, which i believe is important in order to know the extent of the child's understanding. I took on many roles including peer mentor and science mentor, which have given me lots of experience in tutoring; I have enhanced my communication skills which is essential in explaining topics that the child may not understand. I am quite a patient tutor and require my students to put work in if they expect a good outcome. Personally, I have explored a large variety in ways to study which have helped me go from a (GCSE) grade 4-5 student to a 7-9 student; I believe that hard work will always pay off.
