5 years experience working in a special needs department as a teaching assistant. I have also spent two summers working at a camp in America for individuals with special needs, ranging in age from 60 plus to the age of 10. I have been responsible for things such as administering medication, supervision of students with seizures, autism, brain injury victims, Down syndrome, behavioural needs and ADHD.
