Hello my name is Adam and I'm 25. I have worked in care for 6 years and really enjoy what I do. Currently I am the Care Manager of a residential care home over seeing the care and day to day running of adults aged 65+. Previous to that I cared for adults, both men and woman with autism, learning difficulties, epilepsy, challenging behaviours, mental health, social phobias, deafness, blindness, asperges, down syndromes and many more difficulties. I enjoy working in the care sector and find it very rewarding knowing that I can make a difference and help others. I do a range of day to day activities with the people I support from personal care to cooking and attending appointment with individuals. I am a driver at my current company and have had a clean license for over 7 years. Before starting my job as a support worker I was a member of the Royal Navy. Time keeping and presentation are very important to me and I thrive to do everything I can to the best I possibly can.
