I have helped to look after animals all my life whether for leisure or payment. I did work experience at a dog and cat hotel during high school and in 2018 I worked as a veterinary receptionist meaning I am able to spot symptoms if there was to be an emergency. On a personal level, I get great comfort from being around animals yet understand the individual animal's particular boundaries. Although pet care is my forte, I also have great experience with children and younger people. Being the Funcle (Fun-uncle) of five nieces and a nephew (aged 1 to 12) is highly rewarding and I'm interested in potentially working with children in future.
