I'm currently studying Animal Welfare and have already passed 3 levels with distinction. I've cared for cats since childhood, but it's nice to back this up with certificates. Plus the courses include small pets to increase my knowledge beyond cats. I've not been owned by a cat for many years (family member with allergies) though I look after my brother's cat Alfie whenever he is away on holiday as it is less stressful for Alfie when he knows someone is around to care for him longer than a flying visit to feed him.
