My mum has had cats all of her life and I have been brought up with them. I have had plenty of years to get to know each of our different cats and whilst cats are very similar in nature, they all have their own unique personalities which I find fascinating. I find much contentment in spending time with cats. I have also had two dogs in my life and some basic dog training which would mean that I would be available to do dog walks and things. Although I have no years of paid experience, I have plenty of years of unpaid experience at home which was all totally worth it!
