I work as a teaching assistant. I have a dog and a horse and love animals. I always helped friends by looking after their pets and have now decided I would love to do it as a job. I have always struggled to get dog care for my dog, as he is our baby, so I want to provide that 1-1 care for other people's furry babies while they are on holiday or out at work. I want to walk them one dog at a time, not a group of 4 or 5 like I have seen some dog walkers do, and I want to take them out on the lead from where they live, not put in a van with other dogs; it's how I like my boy looked after. I always disliked him going out with a gang of dogs off leads, as I feel they can't be monitored the same. With dog snatching on the increase I feel they are safer being walked on the lead in their normal surroundings. I would be happy to walk them off lead in local fields if the owner wanted that also.
