Dogs I volunteer as a dog walker with the Cinnamon Trust. I have been doing this for over 2 years. I'm also experienced in basic grooming (brushing, washing, drying) Cats I've been lucky enough to have cats all my life. I have three cats, and pride myself on being a responsible pet owner through regular vet checks, up-to-date vaccinations & flea/worming treatments (oral/ topical administration) & ensuring a constant supply of quality food & water. In 2017, my cat gave birth to 4 kittens, and it soon became apparent that the queen and the smallest kitten weren't bonding. The kitten was suffering greatly & required human intervention to survive. I sought advice from multiple local vets, and purchased quality kitten milk, a syringe (which the kitten did not take to) and a bottle (which the kitten did take to). I had to care for the kitten in all the ways her mother was meant to, including hourly feeds and also the stimulation of urine & faeces (using a warm cotton pad). I weighed each kitten every day and recorded all changes. RSPCA work I volunteer for my local RSPCA shelter as a Home Visitor. This entails ensuring potential owners are suitable to adopt an animal by conducting home checks and reporting my findings.
