About Sharon Akuchu

29 years old Speaks English German French
I am a kind, hardworking and a good communicator. I enjoy working closely with others. I have more the 10 years of experience as a carer. I work hard to get to know my clients so I can help them enjoy their interest and hobbies and also gain independence. "I have worked in end of life care for many years, helping to make clients comfortable at home as a live in and out carer. I work well with other palliative care team members, such as doctors, and also with supporting family members with respite care ". I became a carer while looking after my dad when I was 19. When he died, I decided to carry on working as a live in carer for a client who had stroke while raising money to study nursing which had already been my passion. I finally became a nurse and I gained 3 years of experience working as a senior nurse . After my 3 years of working as a nurse I moved to the UK where I have been taking care of a client with many different conditions as a live in Carer. I am very comfortable with pets. " am a good cook! It's a big part of my life and I love trying out new recipes. I can bake well and once won a competition for my pineapple turnover . Get in touch, l'd love to hear from you.

Sharon has provided care for me on a number of occasions and she has been brilliant. Very caring, patient and understanding. She is conscientious and frequently checks I am ok. I am paraplegic with multiple health problems. Sharon has helped me with transfers, moving about in my wheelchair, positioning in bed, checking for bed sores, transfers using a hoist and with medication. She is hard working and when I am not in need of personal support or care she does light housework without even being asked to do it. She is very conscientious about washing her hands and keeping areas clean as well as tidy. This is important to me because I am immunocompromised. She is very polite and kind and cheerful and good with animals! She has helped to take care of the 6 cats, lizard and axolotl in my house and nothing is ever too much trouble for her. I feel very lucky to have had Sharon's help as a carer and I have no hesitation in recommending her to others.
