Hello! My name is Lucie and I live in Redditch. I currently work as a full time care assistant at a local nursing home and I am hoping to start my nursing degree soon. I have took part in 3 first aid courses, manual handling courses, online training in food safety level 2, infection prevention, health and safety, basic life support, the importance of nutrition and fluids and fire awareness. I have over 4 years experience in Dementia/Alzheimer's care varying from family to nursing care. I am a very caring person and I enjoy being able to spend time with people and help them in anyway I can. I have also previously volunteered with the local food bank and I am currently applying to volunteer with the Alzheimer's Society. In my job I care for the elderly, it has taught me to care for people to incredibly high standards and I have learnt how to adapt to each person I look after to provide person centred care at all times. My hobbies are singing, watching films, musical theater, netball and reading. I would be happy to help in anyway I can whether that be cooking, cleaning, personal care or just sitting down for tea and a chat! I hope to hear from you soon!
