I have many interests, but I love being able to have time with my 18 year old twin girls and my Husband. I also love to spend time with our rescue pets, a dog Gina and cat Ella. I have 26 years experience in care work, working my way up to a Senior Support Worker, 1 line management level, I qualified with a diploma level 2 in health and social care, with a view to doing my level 3. I have worked in for the NHS Community Emergency Response team, day care centres, nursing homes, rest homes, specialist Learning Disabilities and domiciliary work, I enjoy working with the elderly and LD as it has been something that has always been in my life. I love listening and hearing about people’s lives and what they have done, and I want to make sure that they can still have a fulfilling, enjoyable life, getting older or having a disability should not stop anyone doing what they want. I am very passionate about care work being people centred and making sure that person has the best possible care that they are entitled to.
