I am experienced in caring for elderly people on both a voluntary and paid basis (I have worked part time with a lady with dementia for the last year) which included companionship; transportation to appointments, collection of medication, letter reading, shopping, meal preparation and cleaning. I’m caring, respectful, friendly and reliable and trustworthy. I have a recent DBS certificate. My last job was as an Internal Auditor (for 7 years) for a charity that supports adults with learning disabilities where I was responsible for checking their finances were in order. This involved visiting the people we supported in their own home. Through this I have knowledge of relevant benefits available, and have undertaken training in safeguarding issues.
