Prior to coming to United Kingdom for Doctoral studies, I was taking care of my father who is suffering from age related sicknesses. In taking care of him, I learnt to be patient because he forgets easily and also reassure him of my support psychologically. I also help to bathe him and ensure he takes his medications timely. I also ensure he is safe and monitor the quality of the food he takes. I intend to replicate this if given opportunity.
