Hello, I am a 45 year old woman. I have qualificationsr up to NVQ 3 level. I studied and volunteered at the school I still work at. I've been working there for over 9 years now as a Teaching Assistant. I have experience working with children up to Year 5 but I have a personal experience of working with over that because of my own children, who are now grown up. My son was a Special Needs child, but sadly passed away in April 2000. He was my inspiration to go into the education field, I have worked one to one with special needs children in the primary school (a child with Autism). My pattern of work is as follows. Mon-friday till 3.30pm. Except Wednesday I work till 4.30pm. Weekends I can do as well. Because I work in term time, I can also offer childcare in the holidays. I have a recent DSB check on file and I also have the document at home which can be shown. Pets aren't a problem, as I have a dog myself. I don't drive but public transport is no issue.
