Hi there! I am Sarah, from Germany and I moved to Leeds for a placement at a Refugee Forum as part of my studies of Social Work in Hamburg. I am 28 years old and I live with my boyfriend in Leeds. My hobbies are playing rugby, guitar, reading, baking bread, social work related discussions, going out for coffee and meeting my friends :) Also, if anyone is interested I can speak German to the children as it's my mothertongue. I have worked as a live-in nanny in Italy for a year, taking care of a 4 and a 6 year old and really enjoyed it. I have also done a voluntary social year working with people with special needs. During my studies I have been working with refugee children and we offered health and sports programmes as well as language support and activities. Since 2017 I have regularly gone on working holidays with people with special needs.
