I am a Bristol-based student with a lifetimes worth of experience in caring for my brother with special needs, and an additional 3-4 years experience in professional childcare (including care for a special needs child). I absolutely loved my childcare job in Suffolk, and I remain very close with the families and continue offer casual, one-off care whenever I am home. Given how rewarding and enjoyable I found these jobs, I’m looking for a similar arrangement in Bristol. I gained extensive experience in looking after the children independently for long periods of time; preparing meals; assisting with bath times and personal hygiene; helping with homework tasks; administering medication; etc. I have a driving license and a car, and I’m happy to help with school drop-offs and pick-ups alongside taking the children for days out.
