My name is Marie and I am a Ofsted registered childminder located in the village of Alresford, Essex. I offer a safe, home from home environment which specialises on learning and development through music and play. I follow the EYFS and focus on each unique child and tailor make fun learning goals to suit them individually. I am a married mum of two girls and a boy. We live with our cat, Charlie. I am a classically trained musician and have over 10 years hands on experience working for NHS maternity departments. I started playing the violin when I was 5 and attended Chethams school of music from the age 13-18. Music is a huge part of my life but also working with new parents and babies has also been very rewarding. I really enjoyed helping the children to learn in nature and we often go on adventures around the village. We also have a secure garden dedicated to the children where they can use the mud kitchen, sandpit, climbing tower, balancing logs, secret passageway and stone quarry.
