Hello, My name is Kayah, I live in Leeds. I’ve just finished my Second Year at University, studying Psychology with counselling. I’ve been babysitting for 6 years, I had a regular babysitting job, the young girl was aged 2, I babysat her up to the age of 8. My responsibilities included over night babysitting, in which I would entertain, feed, bath, read stories and play with her. I’ve babysat for 8-month old twins, which I would feed, bathe, entertain and put them to bed. Over the past year, I have babysat a 1-year old, which we would have fun days out, i.e. we’d go swimming, to the park and to the zoo etc. I recently completed a training course in Mentoring Children’s Well-Being, which included learning about the importance of play development, children’s development and building rapport with children. This programme included placement at a primary school, in which I mainly worked with reception and nursery pupils. I gained a lot of insight from this programme, allowing my experience and knowledge on children development and well-being to grow. I’m fully flexible, and hold a driving license and vehicle.
