My name is Jade and I have a level 3 qualification in childcare and am currently undertaking a degree in Youth and Childhood Studies. I've worked in various nurseries in Bath as a nursery nurse, mobile creche's as a crèche leader and also as a private self employed nanny locally. I'm now a registered childminder. I currently have 3 beautiful boys of my own. I have home educated as well as flexi-schooled so am open to various educational philosophies. I am more than happy to cater for home educated children or those who also flexi-school. I absolutely adore watching children develop and grow and being apart of that special time. I have SEN experience, in particular with children on the spectrum, learning difficulties and with speech delays. I know some basic Makaton from personal use but am aiming to undertake a foundation course to cement that knowledge. I have experience with using PECS, visual time tables and now/next etc. If your child has any additional needs please contact me and we can work together to see if we would be a good fit for each other. We thrive in the outdoors so love lots of out door adventures and activities. The wellie boots go on whatever the weather and off we go for an adventure in the woods or elsewhere. We are definitely outdoorsy people! I am aiming to take childminded children from January (pending certificates). I will be limited to 2 under 5's places per day, which I expect to be snapped up quite quickly. I offer contracted care as well as adhoc and PAYG care.
